About the role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative marketing professional with planning, design, and communications skills to grow their marketing career while helping our exciting organization thrive.

In this multifaceted intermediate role, you will be responsible for executing successful sales enablement and marketing initiatives, including event and tradeshow planning, branding initiatives, graphic and print design, HubSpot CRM deliverables, content marketing, reporting, analysis, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in one or more of these areas, along with an interest and desire to learn and grow with a dynamic team and business.

As a Branding & Events Specialist you will

  • Events and tradeshows:
    • Support in project management, logistics, and coordination for annual user conference and select tradeshows throughout the year.
    • Work alongside internal and external partners to ensure success.
    • Create required design assets for promotion and event use.
  • Graphic design:
    • Create professional quality assets for print and web marketing materials, digital campaigns, social media, and email marketing, using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma.
    • Assist in responsive web design and conversion rate optimization projects.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all materials.
  • Digital marketing and CRM:
    • Become a HubSpot CRM superuser and optimize processes, manage contacts, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Create, optimize, and deploy HubSpot marketing emails, ensuring clean design and accurate mailing lists.
    • Update and refine WordPress website content.
  • Reporting, analysis, and administration:
    • Regularly observe web data sources to understand performance and suggest improvements.
    • Assist in creating reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
    • Assist in day-to-day marketing departmental tasks to improve project management and data quality.

Required skills and experience

  • Formal education in marketing or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience related to marketing, preferably in a B2B technology or SaaS environment.
  • Experience coordinating conferences, tradeshows, or other corporate events.
  • Understanding of event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement while monitoring budget.
  • Strong understanding of design principles (color theory, typography, layout, composition).
  • Comfort level with graphic design software including Adobe Illustrator & InDesign, Figma, and Canva.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build rapport, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 

About you

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to handle multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Bonus points

  • Understanding of web/mobile responsive design and conversion rate optimization.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation systems, particularly HubSpot, is highly desirable

Hours and location

Our team continues to work 100% remotely with occasional in person meet-ups in the Greater Toronto Area. Future plans around location are still open. Our primary focus is the wellness of our team and their families. Flexible work hours.

Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week), with an annual salary (based on experience) plus bonus. Shared medical, dental, wellness, and insurance benefits.
