About the role

With the support of your team and Senior Developers as mentors, you will identify problems, investigate and understand business rules, perform research, explore proof of concepts, and code functional, clean code.

We are looking for an individual who has an understanding of web applications, JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular, agile frameworks,

HTML5/CSS/SASS/LESS, and a working knowledge of .NET and SQL. These are all important aspects of this role and will be a part of your everyday workflow.

During these unprecedented times, our team has been 100% working from home. While this may change in the future, our primary goal is to keep our team and their families safe during the pandemic.

Our northwest Toronto (Etobicoke) office is easily accessed from 427, 401, 400, and 407 as well as by public transit. Free parking is available for all team members.


This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week), with an annual salary (based on experience) plus bonus. Shared medical, dental, wellness, and insurance benefits.

What you will do

  • Bring designs to life by using cutting edge technologies and techniques
  • Collaborate with our UX design team to maintain consistency across our applications and iterate on design concepts to improve the user experience
  • Work closely with the product owner and a senior developer to implement clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Participate in our agile process and focus on continuous improvement

Requirements and skills

  • Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, web development, or other equivalent certifications/diplomas
  • Knowledge developing responsive web applications using JavaScript, JSON, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3/LESS/SASS and Angular 8+
  • Knowledge of Single Page Applications
  • Knowledge of C#, Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL query language
  • Understanding of RESTful architecture and APIs
  • 1+ years’ experience maintaining and managing multiple applications with a focus on reusability and modularity
  • 1+ years’ experience with responsive web development and mobile standards
  • Experience working with source control systems, preferably with Git or DevOps
  • Familiar with paired programming, continuous integration, and coding standards
